The breakfast was excellent, The location is very good to walking through the city. Easy access to everything.
My room was next to the elevator so it was noisy.
Check in and valet parking was easy . The solarium where breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese is served is comfortable and the foods are delicious . Coffee and hot water for tea and hot chocolate are available in the lobby by check in. Also a selection of fresh baked cookies The hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms are nicely decorated The mattress on our King size bed was the best I have ever slept on New walk in showers and nice toiletries and towels also Location is rightin downtown walking distance to attractions in the area easy Public free bus is nearby
There was no heat in the building Only in the rooms The hotel guests need to go across the street to the building with accommodations This might be an issue for some folks They do have luggage carts. There are 2 entrances to the building. One has stairs, the other doesn’t Room 301 was extremely noisy . Directly above was the Solarium and kitchen 5 am wake up noise every morning and very loud street noise The rooms are small and lots of angles in the hallway. Difficult to manage with a walker or wheelchair, baby carriage etc Housekeeping is available on request
breakfast was very good
the damned fire alarm went off in the whole building, the manager game into my room as I was getting out of the shower, i had no clothes on. this happened ay 6:00 am.... not a good way to start the day.
Everything absolutely top! Nicely maintained hotel, clean, calm, charming, with many fantastic restaurants in walking distance, valet parking. King street, the main business street only a few blocks away. What we also really appreciated was the afternoon Apero in the roof top bar / breakfast room.
Nothing.
