Location and staff
Clean and classy
Loved the old building, great location for the historic area We actually stayed in their annex which is across the road (shown in their picture) Great breakfast in their solarium with views of the city. Big room!
Just the cost of valet parking but the local public car parks were more likely expensive - just be aware as this was marked as free car parking on booking.com
Great location and wonderful breakfast spread!
Rooms on the smaller size.
They had a lovely complimentary breakfast which included hot selections and an afternoon complimentary wine and cheese. The rooms were clean and comfortable. And the staff very helpful and accommodating.
I didn't realize that the hotel is comprised of two individual building with reception located in one property and not the other. That was odd. But boutique hotels can be quirky. So, I can't say that I didn't like that it just was something that I hadn't previously experienced.
Location was great. Room really clean and super comfy bed. Housekeeping superb!
Property listing and texts indicated they had a concierge, however, whenever we asked for assistance with reservations, recommendations etc., we were told “we needed to do it”, on line. Staff were basically pretty “flat” not the friendly customer service attitude we thought we would experience in a small inn. Ex., when leaving the gentleman at the desk couldn’t even say “thank you for choosing us”. Also, the building we stayed in did not feel safe, entrance to the hallway to our room was not locked and opened directly into a parking lot. When we booked it was not clear that access to our room was up a staircase. No offer to help with bags from check in staff.
Excellent breakfast. We loved the cheese and wine social each day.
It was all very good
We loved the property — the history, the location, our two floor room, and the incredible DAILY housekeeping service, which was so wonderful! In our state (Washington), we rarely have true service in the service industry anymore, especially in hotels, boutique or other wise. It was completely refreshing to have housekeeping everyday!
We liked everything.
Great location - easy to walk to around the French quarter and see the sites. Very comfortable beds and decent size rooms
