They don't serve breakfast, just coffee, but they have a great bar and courtyard with swimming pool.
Housekeeping was hit and miss with restocking the room such as toilet paper, wash clothes, coffee pods and coffee cups.
The location and ease for parking. All the staff were amazing and so friendly
It did not have a fridge in the room and the ice machine was out of order
The very nice staff were always helpful and generous. Affordable rooms. Nice Court yard with a pool to dip in after walking around the French Quarter. The Baily's bar access from the courtyard was also great! You can go in get a drink and chill by the pool.
The rooms could use some USB ports. I brought my plugs just in case but if you stay here you might want to make sure to bring your usb wall plug in's.
We liked the location and it was very, very quiet even being a block off bourbon Street.
We did not get the room we had booked with the balcony overlooking the street and I’m not sure why the bathroom wasn’t very nice and the gate for our courtyard to get to our room was difficult to use. Had to try it several times to get it to work
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was authentic and had charm.
It was not clean. The bathroom in particular did not reflect the price paid. There was no shower curtain so the bathroom floor got soaked and we had to step in puddles to use the toilet. The toilet seat would get wet after using the shower too. Having the basin in the bedroom was very odd, and if you didn’t know to turn the tap on slowly it splashed over the sink onto the carpet, or your shirt. It was very dark and had no windows to open for fresh air. The sound quality was very poor, we could hear EVERYTHING in the room above us, including a couple (or more?) enjoying themselves for several hours, (not kidding when I say hours). No problem with that, but we did not need to hear it all. I would definitely put couples on ground floors only in the future. It was awkward listening to ‘the honeymoon’ shall we say, with my daughter in the room with me.
