CincinnatiI enjoyed the ambience of the hotel lobby and the connivence of the hotel’s location in downtown Cincinnati.
For the price I paid, I don’t believe it was worth it - even for the location convenience of it. The staff was not able to answer my questions about how valet parking would be handled (I have never stayed at a hotel that valet wasn’t right when you pulled up and since the door manager took my key, I assumed we were fine). The walls throughout the hallways and in our room were chipping paint. It was also clear that our room was not adequately cleaned and turned over by the hair on the bathroom door, no conditioner and sheets that smelled odd. Finally, we decided we wanted a simple morning and called to order room service at 2 separate times (once about 30 minutes after the availability started and again about 45 minutes later) to find out it wasn’t available due to the room service attendant not being at work.. I find it difficult to understand how there was only once attendant for a 29 floor hotel. Overall, my next stay in the Cincinnati area will be at a location I know the staff is knowledgeable and attentive and that you really get what you pay for in your stay & accommodations
It had beautiful decor
I could hear the traffic 12 floors up
The area was perfect and the hotel was beautiful.
Our room was nice when we walked in but once we started looking at it the sheets were stained and the shower and whirlpool were dirty. When we tried to use the whirlpool it would work for a moment and then start sputtering water out so we’d have to turn it off. When housekeeping came they replaced the towels and they were damp. Also the elevators were very difficult to use, it would miss our floor numerous times.
