The Entrance Backpackers

Check-in process was poor with the property locked up and no staff present. Had to wait in the lounge room. The payment was quickly taken and then shown to the kitchen. the Kitchen was dirty with rubbish and unwashed dishes all over the place. I was then taken to my room. The door opens to a cloud of smoke from drug use in the room. There was also beer cans in the floor, bed was dirty and homeless staying in the room. The homeless guy spoke about how aggressive he can be, how he stole things from his last workplace and went on to talk about gangs in the area that he knows??? At this point I immediately left the property not even taking by backpack off and stayed down the road. I didnt feel safe or feel like my belongings wouldve been safe in the room. I requested a full refund with no response from the property and Ive had to escalate this through booking. Ive still had no response from the backpackers and its been weeks. Ive been traveling the east coast for many years and havent had a problem until now. I do not recommend this place and hope others learn from my experience.

Location is pretty good, the owners are really friendly, it's very nice. As well as the manager (the girl), if you have any problems they will help you ....

A lot of strange people (drug addict), they were coming and going all the time in my room, screaming, fighting at night and day At the end there are good people but maybe not the one that you want in your room or in the hostel.....

I got there and no one was on the resection, I call and text all numbers that they provided and no answer at the end I have go to a hotel to have a place to sleep. till this moment they havent replied to my calls or text messages and no apology.
