In Nashville for a Zach Bryan concert at Nissan Stadium June 29, 2024. Booked the room as No prepayment & Free cancellation on Dec 26th 2023. The location, the amenities & the price were all fantastic. The only problem is they cancelled my reservation the morning before check-in for non-payment. The debit card on file used to book the room had expired over the 7mos span but I had 3 other viable cards in my hand at check-in they could've used. Booking.com didn't notify me, the hotel didn't notify me, no one called to ask about payment options over the phone if they could not process my payment before check-in. I had checked the reservation the night before & verified the address as well, no notifications there might be a problem, which I could've easily fixed over the phone on my drive down there if they'd told me they needed to process the room charge before I ever got there. Then they proceeded to tell me they were actually over-accommodated for the night & there was no possible way they could provide me a room at all. I was furious because I had already looked at pricing for other hotels that night, which were outrageous btw, because 2 others were attending the concert last minute & we potentially needed a bigger room. Ultimately they ended getting another hotel much cheaper over near OpryMills so we didn't upgrade. But standing there, I could've just cried. We ended up finding the most 'affordable' room we could but it was significantly more than my locked in price at Loews. The price difference knocked us out of anything fun the next day since I had only budgeted so much for the trip. It was a major bummer & made sure Loews staff understood how incredibly inconsiderate that standard of customer service is. It's unacceptable, & I will never be booking with them again.
