Clean room and comfortable bed. Good location for a one night stopover following international flight.
Bit of an overcharge on bottled water at $15.
Size of the room and easy access to Venice beach

Super friendly staff with quirky comfortable decor. Very clean. Loved it!
Good room, very quiet (including the air conditioning, which seems to be a rare thing these days!)
A kettle in the room would be good for those who drink tea.
Large room, well equipped, good and quiet location. Nice staff.
Stale air in the room.
Cool building, lots of amenities to enjoy while hanging out at the hotel. Modern furniture and finishes in most of the rooms which is nice. Kind hotel staff that was accommodating and easy access parking.
Well to start this place is not close to the Abbot Kinney you are traveling there to enjoy. The name is misleading, but it's also on us for not researching this more. We wanted to love this place but everything was just a little off. When we booked on Booking.com, we were told parking was free, it was not. The elevators seemed a little sketchy for our liking. Then we got to our room and it was like walking into someone's flooded basement. I don't understand how a room could be so humid and musty in such a dry climate. It was mind boggling. I just got an odd vibe so I immediately checked the bed for bugs. Luckily we fond nothing but there were some suspect stains. The bathroom was kinda gross. I mean we all have seen mold in a shower, but when I'm paying $300 USD a night, this is bad. The mirror was beat up and for the price, it was just generally run down. The next day, we came back to the room to drop something off mid day and a maintenance guy was in there tearing open the sink drain. I mean, thanks for fixing it but we got no warning from the staff at all. Flash forward to the second night, once again, the room is crazy humid and stinky. Like a hostel in South East Asia bad. Any one of these things would bother most patrons but we're a chill couple over here, even as the issues have been mounting. We're packing up for our morning flight, I fall asleep on the bed and my girlfriend wakes me up in a panic. There's a COCKAROACH crawling around on the second bed! And I mean big, like an inch and a half long. This was the anvil that broke the camels back. I tried to catch it but it ran under the bed so I immediately called the desk to get another room. Thank you to the woman who got us a new room that wasn't stinky or humid. I'm not the type to complain. I usually take my licks and move on but this was terrible. So thank you for cutting the parking for our troubles? But honestly, we deserve all our money back.
