Hotel Joaquin

Beautiful stylish hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms a good size with seating area and large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and fresh coffee delivered to the room each morning. Wonderful sea views and easy walk to the beach

The location was great. The views and close walk to the beach was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Not very sound proof and housekeeping wasnt on par for the price that you pay. Breakfast and drink were very yummy even though we did not get our welcome drink.

Housekeeping could have been better (for the price being paid) Towels were not replaced, cleaning cloth was left on counter.

Amazing staff, food, drinks, and property. If you are looking for a relaxed, laid back vacation it is the perfect spot. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This is a beautiful hotel/motel that has been tastefully redesigned and updated. The facilities are fabulous, and there are plenty of spaces to stretch out and relax. We had a view of the ocean from our bed, and it was stunning. Plus, having a record player with a wide variety of albums to play was an added bonus.

This is an adults only hotel (18+). This is part of the reason I chose this for a surprise birthday celebration for my husband. Shortly after we checked in, a couple snuck their baby (like, a brand new baby) and their toddler into the room immediately next to us. I immediately asked the friendly front desk what was going on and was told the couple had only checked in as 1 guest, but had now crammed 4 people into the one room. I thought, ok, they are aware and they are saying this is against their house rules. The day goes by and I expected that the hotel had rebooked the family elsewhere. The next morning, I wake up at 6am to a baby screaming and a toddler playing loudly. I am told by the hotel that they are only staying one night. The next morning, I am again woken by screaming baby plus toddler, this time with their dad bellowing out to "Stop hitting your sister!!". We had 3 nights, for $1700. I splurged on this trip and was so excited to get away for a much needed break. This entitled couple, and an unresponsive hotel, made it very hard to relax. The hotel comped one night of our stay, but, seriously? I am still appalled by this, and it's unfortunately the main thing that we talk about when people ask us about our trip. Not fair.
