Altstadthotel Kasererbrau

Great location in the middle of the old town and very accessible by bus, with plenty of nearby cafés and restaurants. Hotel with an historical movie theater on the ground floor. Breakfast was good and with a large variety of food.

Quite old facilities, the room was fine and comfortable but small and hot despite the fan and opened window at night. Given the high price, I will probably try to choose a more modern place next time, closer to the train station.

The lobby, the breakfast room and restaurant were all clean and well maintained. The breakfast was really nice.

Our room was not clean nor well-maintained. We were in room 505, a junior suite. The room was shabby. The linen old (with a hole), the towels fraying, the furniture was old and dated and the walls were really scuffed. The bathroom was the worst though: The shower head did not work, the mirror and toilet paper holder were partly unscrewed and thus askew. There was mildew and mold on the shower tiles, the bottom edge of the door had water damage and was frayed.

Everton but location. Breafast and room facilities were real disaster

Got breakfast included which I had not prepaid for which was much appreciated. Location was excellent in the old town of Salzburg. Close to bus stop which links with bus to train station.

Bathroom was tiny. Pictures on site look more modern than reality.

Excellent location to all attractions. Good breakfast

Poor room. The Deluxe double room was more basic. No air con, just a fan so good luck in heat. No hospitality but tea bar some floors down. Soap dispenser broken, no tissues in holder, fan in bathroom noisy and erratic and whole room needs a refurb
