Well we finally got a good room that could fit the whole family.
We were presented with a non-habitable bungalow. The staff were not very helpful making us understand that the bangalows were under construction and the place should have stated it beforehand and perhaps have reductions in price. When we arrived I was presented with an upgrade but I was not allowed to compare the rooms in person. All was weird. Finally we got a good room that we were satisfied with but the whole initial experience was very bad.
Nothing, room was terrible and manager was mean
People were not nice checking in at front desk, Manager talked down to us
The bungalows are absolutely a NO-GO, dirty, old, and also around the bungalows we had construction activities, so no privacy, no silence, and no glass windows! Not reasonable for the price. We asked to get moved to the tower and was decent, but still not reasonable for 500 per night
In the middle of the worst natural disaster in Hawaiian history the staff took care of us even facing unbelievable loss and tragedy. When all other hotels closed and bussed everyone to the airport they stayed open.

The resort is right on the beach.
This was the worst value for a stay I've ever had. The website showed a picture of a 350sqft bungalow with lots of light and nice floors, bathroom, etc. We were put into a 200 sqft, dark, old, bungalow with inefficient air conditioning, old carpet, and a bathroom from the late 70's. For the same amount of money you could stay in a high end mid-town Manhattan suite with a separate bedroom. Literally, I looked it up. Costs the same as the Conrad, around $520/night after all fees, parking, etc., for the room equivalent of a Motel 6. Granted, I am including in the cost the $35/night to self park, but a car is almost necessary because they only have one restaurant (and a small coffee/ice cream store) so you'll want to get off property at least some. It's possible that if you book this you'll get what's in the pictures, but definitely not guaranteed. And you'll have to see the pictures attached to this review because they don't show pictures of these bungalows anywhere. I'm not exactly sure what the 'resort fee' is for, the only things I found for free were beach towels, use of the two very average pools, and shuffleboard. The wifi was terrible, almost unusable, which was probably for the best since it was open and unsecure.
Location and private beach. Yet construction noise was audible on beach.
The property was undergoing severe renovations during my stay, under new ownership and I was not notified and paid too dollar.
Everything
The resort itself is beautiful. The view of the Pacific and Maui mountains - even more beautiful. Loved our getaway at the resort and the Lahaina town. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I booked for Garden view room, but got a tower room instead. I booked the garden view almost 2 months prior to vacation. I was not notified of Garden view renovation and it's unavailability prior to, during, or after booking. I was only notified by staff upon checking in when we reached the Resort.
I loved the property during Our Stay on July 02/2023 to July 10/2023 I was not apart of a group. I Denise Y Ramsey, Spouse Jeffrey Carter and sister, Elaine Monroe Lucas, she left on July 06,2023 @ 5 a.m. so if I was charged as part of some mysterious group, I am disputing this Charge Connected with the $ 5.176.00 U.S. dollars.
