Location

Room was small noisy and cold. The surfaces were not clean. I used wet wipes to clean drink rings from previous guests myself.

Atmosphere

Gym could have been better

It was an historic hotel. The walls were thick an that made them super quiet. The hotel kept the beautiful molding on the doors and in the hall ways. The bed and comforter was extremely comfortable. I slept longer in the hotel than I do at home. I liked the neighborhood so I would get up and walk to a cafe in the morning. However, I liked making our morning coffee with the in house coffee machine.. The staff were lovely and welcoming The gave me a sheet so I could read about the history of the building. Thank Kimpton

Room smelled musty

Our room was in the basement. And the room definitely smelled musty and mildewy like a basement. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. I couldn't find any vending machines on site which was a bummer. Paying $5 for a can of Coca-Cola was shocking. Overall, it was extremely close to the venue for the event that I was attending. The staff was exceptionally nice. I'm not sure I would book the same room for the same price in the future.
