Gym, restaurants are ok Staff very friendly and fast Switching elevators for everything is a bit of a bummer
The employees at registration were the best. I stay here at least 3-4 times a month. The girls are amazing. Shantel gives the best customer service I think I’ve ever had. She always makes me feel at home. You have a diamond right there. Definitely management material.
They would not let me have a late check out one of the times I was there. They sent security to my room and they waited there until I was out of the room. I was treated like a criminal and they couldn’t have been more rude
Nothing
I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Los Angeles, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I was only there for one day and wanted to make the most out of my stay, but the hotel ruined it all. After a long flight, I arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, expecting to check into the King Premier room I had booked. However, I was placed in a room on the lowest floor, which had a completely different view from what was shown in the pictures, and there was a strange, unpleasant smell in the room. When I asked to change rooms, I was informed that check-in wouldn’t be possible until 4 PM, which I accepted. After having lunch, I returned to the lobby and waited for 2.5 hours. When I finally went to the reception at 4 PM, I was told my room was still not ready and would be available by 5 PM. I was shocked, especially after waiting so long, and was told the delay was because the room wasn’t clean yet. I waited another hour, and when I approached the desk again, there was an issue with their check-in system, which caused a massive crowd to gather in the lobby. The situation turned chaotic, with crew members and guests flooding the area. After waiting even longer, someone finally approached me and told me they were still trying to find a solution, but I received no further updates. Eventually, I went back to the reception and was upgraded to a new room, but when I entered, I found the bathroom door was broken. This was particularly frustrating as I was traveling with a friend and needed some privacy. I tried calling the reception and operator multiple times, but received no response. Finally, around 1 AM, I managed to reach them via email, and they moved me to yet another room. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. What was supposed to be a relaxing, one-day stay turned into a frustrating experience due to poor room management and unresponsive staff.
