Location. Great counter space in the bathroom.
No room service. No bottled water in my room. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. And the list goes on.
Good location and accomodation
I booked two hotel rooms at Holiday Inn Washington Capitol-National Mall (an IHG Hotel) through Booking.com. After my stay, I need itemized receipts showing the price for each room separately for reimbursement purposes. However, I've encountered a circular problem where neither party will provide the required documentation: Booking.com only provided a total price confirmation for both rooms combined, which is insufficient for my reimbursement needs. When contacted, they said they would reach out to the hotel and forward the itemized receipt when received. When I directly contacted the hotel to request itemized receipts, they refused to provide any documentation, stating they cannot provide receipts for reservations made through third-party platforms like Booking.com. This situation has created a significant problem as I am unable to process my reimbursement without proper documentation showing the individual room rates. Both the hotel and Booking.com are effectively preventing me from obtaining necessary documentation for legitimate business expense purposes. I believe this practice is deceptive as: Consumers have a right to receive detailed receipts for services paid for The hotel and booking platform are each deflecting responsibility to the other party This creates an unreasonable barrier to obtaining basic transaction documentation It affects consumers' ability to process legitimate business reimbursements I have documentation of my attempts to resolve this through both Booking.com's customer service and direct contact with the hotel. I request the FTC to investigate this practice as it appears to be a systematic issue affecting consumers' rights to obtain proper documentation for their purchases.
location is hard to beat for family on vacay. National Mall, Smithsonian including Air & Space, Spy Museum all within a few blocks. Loved the kids play area!
Bed was hard. pool was closed for season
Very clean, excellent location, easy access to the National Mall and the Museums, friendly employees.
I pretty much like everything!! Great hotel!!
Love the location especially if considering site seeing of the capitol, white house, monument, Smithsonian and other museums. Would like to take my 12 and 13 year old there to learn our history. I was there for Redskins and Steelers game. Wish the skins won.
Nothing really.
