Hotel V Frederiksplein

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile and advice about travel etc The bed was really comfortable.

The hotel wasn't clean enough. It looked like the corridors and stairways hadn't been hoovered in a long time and my room had chips and marks over the walls and the flooring was shabby. The open cupboard looked like a cheap MDF unit with no hang space for suits or dresses and the "desk" was too high up to use with any of the chairs. Bathroom was ok. The room was tiny - I didn't mind that because I was only there for a night but there was nowhere to store my overnight bag so if you were staying for longer than 1 night you'd be better off somewhere else.

No ventilation system. And there was painting work beside my room which is very noisy and unclean

The staff were friendly and gave a welcome drink

My room was noisy, dusty, didn’t seem like it had been cleaned recently. No air con and just a tiny window so constantly dark in the room. The noise from the workers on the -1 floor was almost unbearable and I found myself being woken up early every morning.

Staff was amazing and location of the hotel was good in the center and very close to the metro and trams.

The room was pretty small :(

Location was perfect

Our room was very noisy ! We can hear the neighbors talking and people on the road chatting at any time of the day. We got Fresh towels everyday . However we spend 6 nights in the hotel and the bedsheets were not changed once!

- Friendly and helpful staff - Clean and modern interior - Location is walking distance to everything

- Bit of a wait to check-in - Bathroom in the loft room (loft 6) was quite dark
