- not cleaned properly - very dark atmosphere -room was tiny and felt like a jail cell - interior very out dated - room was freezing - was woken up by alarms twice one night of our stay - also someone unlocked our bedroom door at 8/9am and entered our room while we slept - room did not reflect a nearly €400 price
Really lovely staff! Very hospitable and friendly. Lovely working space and aesthetically pleasing. Location was great! I would stay here again (but solo).
Rooms are small (expected in Amsterdam). If you’re not a fan of dark aesthetics then it’s not the place for you.
The location was excellent, within walking distance to great markets and also short walk to metro, and a great cafe across the road, with great atmosphere and food,
Nothing
It was clean and modern and had a quirky twist
A lot of stairs we did not know about
Great location, very friendly staff. Good breakfast food.
I knew the room I had booked was small, but didn’t expect it to be as small as it was. It was also very dark, not helped by the mustard coloured walls and ceiling. The room was also in need of a refurbishment. The cleanliness of the room lacked attention to detail. There was black mould around the sink overflow, the sink was also cracked. The base of the shower clearly hadn’t been cleaned for some time. The towels were old, rough and small. The TV is the room was tiny and several channels did not work. Whilst the breakfast food was good, there was only one member of staff, so tables were not cleared very quickly, so dirty plates, cups and cutlery were left for quite some time. At €1300 for four nights I expected higher standards!
Perfect location. I ve visited Amsterdam for an exhibition at RAI and it was so easy to reach to Rai, Airport and City Center with only one dircet tram which is next to hotel. My first room was a panthouse but it was so clostrophobic but the staff helped me and changed it to a flat room with a good view. They were very helpful. This was my second stay at that hotel and for my future visits I will prefer this hotel if the prices will not be so expensive
Voice of trams coming to room all day and night except some hours after midnight. Bath is difficult to use, there is a half glass dor for shower and since the bathroom is very small all floor gets wet when you took a shower
