Loved being able to access the Sunscape and Secrets resorts here
The customer service sucked, I had to ask for the same things over and over again
Certainly not as nice, in any way as the other Dreams Resorts I have previously stayed at in other locations in my past travels.
The attention to detail is lacking severely. Everything from the grounds maintenance to the filthy hallways and elevators. I asked to speak to the hotel manager on two different occasions and was told he was not available. I will leave it at that.
The beach.
The food selection and lack of things to do.
We liked the size and always prefer to stay at smaller resorts. the staff and the bartenders were great. the beach area is also very nice and good for snorkeling/swimming
so many things. the pool is VERY small and there is no ocean view. it also has a guadelupe play structure that isnt really even made for the pool. i took my kids to the kids club and when I picked them up they were watching youtube. the elevator in our building was broken our entire stay but yet they put us in there with my 70+ year old parents on the 3rd and 4th floor. our room at the end 3541 smelled like sewage most of the trip. i called to complain and after bugging them they finally sent someone who just lit incense. the food wasnt good at all and we found lunch time particularly difficult bc our kids coukdnt wait till 1230 when the buffett finally opened. we have stayed at other resorts where it felt like there was always food available. my parents room was constantly humid and they had to put towels down bc the floor was so wet. the pool area is surrounded by VERY slick tile. its horrible for kids. each of our kids (who are under 5 slipped. one even got a black eye). i wanted to love this place, but we will not be coming back
Them trying to sell their membership like it was a timeshare. Take that out of the equation and it was an excellent stay. Shame on Hyatt for doing that.
Very peaceful. Small resort, few restaurants, but you could walk to the neighboring resorts for their restaurants (they're included). This resort is newer and more modern than the neighboring resorts. Would definitely go back.
