location, great. hotel, fine. the room was fine but just feels cold. not very homey. the shower was horrible. bad water pressure and definitely got nowhere near hot enough. parking is CRAZY expensive if you want to park a hire car there.
the shower was horrible. felt cold
I was upgraded to a suite!
The staff always acted inconvenienced when you needed something.
The location was good
It was not 5 star standards at all, no one really pays attention to you in the lobby, i called reception a few times and no one picked up. Because of the pool and the sky bar there are loads of people coming in and out which is annoying and felt a bit unsafe. There are lots of extra charges that are not explicitly stated.
The location was insane, couldn’t have been better.
I found the staff quite rude and unapproachable. I’m a member of Dis-Loyalty which is the hotel groups loyalty programme, non of the staff seemed to know anything about it. I found the value and quality of the hotel not that great. I previously stayed at The Hoxton LA which is about half the cost but way better quality and felt a lot more premium. The hotel feels a little tired. Evenings at the hotel get crazy. If you’re not on the part scene it can be a bit intimidating.
