1. After booking with a free breakfast that offered menu and buffet; advised by server that only buffet was offered. My wife has cancer, and CANNOT eat from a buffet per doctor instruction. 2. When I queried this server, another wait staff advised that menu options were available. 3. When I asked for the check after breakfast and offered our room number, the wait staff said the free breakfast was ONLY for the buffet. I signed and included a 20% tip. 4. At checkout, I was told that menu options are available and that the free breakfast was “up to the buffet”. 5. The front desk manager, seeing my frustration, said she would take care of it, and even waived the resort fee 6. Q? Hyatt took a B+ experience - hotel was under renovation - to D around breakfast. Did not appear that anyone was aware of booking conditions. 7. Hats off to front desk person who intervened and was quietly and professionally gracious. Wish I had her name - for Hyatt it me. Would love to have her lead one of my CSR groups and see her lead the division over time. She had “the it”
