The lake is beautiful and location is serene.
There was no Wifi in our room. The property and furniture is really old and not updated. Our mattress was so old and used that it had a big dip in it. We couldnt sleep well at night and woke up with back pain. We also saw a spider walking across our bed and whole bunch of spiderwebs all around the corners of the wall. The server never put our order in so we waited an hour to get our entree, and that was after we inquired about our food that the server realized that he never put our order in.
Emerald lake itself was amazing and the setting is one you will never forget. However for a 4 star hotel this hotel is outdated and not up to the standard it should be. There are no TV's, Safety deposit boxes, drinking water or WiFi in the rooms, The two days we were there they had a wedding on so Clintro was closed which left very limited options for food and the rooms are not equipped to make anything for yourself (unlike many hotels we stayed in on our trip round BC and Alberta) Overall if it wasn't for the lake I would not visit again.
