Grand Hotel Gosforth Park

Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings Very pleasant

Nothing it was lovely.

The location

Room was dirty. Bathroom was dirty. Very very dusty.

The beds were comfy. A good sleep was had.

The hotel was very hot no aircon quite uncomftable. The hotel is old very tired looking . Bathroom taps juddered when using.

Very nice bar area. Good shower, on-site parking

Couldn’t get a snack/sandwich or anything as we arrived shortly before 10 and the kitchen was closed. My bad I should have contacted them earlier. We were in an area which was below the ground level of the main reception building. The painted brick walls made it look like a barracks and there was a horrible smell. The most annoying thing was the single quilt on a double bed!!! Luckily it was hot weather. If it had not been so late and we were too tired to bother when we arrived I would have spoken to the staff. I got the impression watching a member of staff deal with another customer next morning that they would have been helpful in resolving any issue. I would give it another chance if we needed to stay in the area again as it was a very competitive price

Having to pay for a swim when you actually stay at the hotel. The bacon and eggs at breakfast are always frazzled, staff slow to replenish the food. My bed was lopsided and there were a few hairs in the bath when we got to our room.

Location is great and surprisingly very quiet over night. Property and room were clean

Fitness suite and pool were at a cost not included which wasn’t declared online, a major influence in my booking this hotel was the availability of a gym Shower was limp with very little pressure No mugs in room for tea
