Good location, great rooftop bar, staff were lovely and friendly, room was clean
TV was a bit dated but really cant complain as didnt go abroad to watch TV
There is no mini fridge
The entrance to the hotel is very grand and gives the impression of luxury which it isnt. The breakfast was excellent and there was a provision for gluten free and other dietary requirements if needed. The restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly.
There was no tea making facilities in the room. If you ask for a kettle you are given one but not supplied with cups so you have to go and search for cups etc. Luckily, there is a shop near the hotel which sells tea bags and coffee etc. if you want tea you can go to a reception area where there is a coffee machine but you then have to go to reception to get a cup. There was no information in the room giving suggestions for where to go and places of interest to see. There was also no information advising guests of facilities eg breakfast could be offered as a takeaway if you were leaving early. We paid for breakfast on a daily basis and on the last day of our stay we purchased the tickets the night before so we could go straight for breakfast as we had to leave shortly after 7.30. Unfortunately our train time was changed and we had to leave earlier before breakfast was served. The hotel front of house manager refused to refund the 36 saying we could have had a takeaway breakfast. As stated earlier, no one advised us of this facility. Some Reception staff were not as helpful or friendly as restaurant staff. The pillows in the bedroom were of very poor quality and in need of upgrade. The wifi is not particularly good. There is no phone in the room to call reception Our room was called a superior room. I think this is misleading.
Very good location and polite stuff
Everything was good
Very good location, able to walk to most places in brussels. Felt very safe in hotel and area as a solo female traveller. Had a balcony which I wasn't expecting.
Plug didn't work in the bath so I was unable to run a bath. The bag room was full on the day I arrived so I have to cary my large backpack around with me for several hours. You could hear people in the corridor from the room, mainly an issue in the afternoon during a nap, not at night.
