Property is beautifully done with an exceptional nod to its historic past. The Shirley Restaurant and 25 Degree Diner at both wonderful! Our only complaint is that the bathroom towel service was inconsistent. We stayed a full week, and the service was great 5 out of the 7 nights, but items were forgotten one night and we received a stained hand towel another night. Such an easy fix: simply inspect the items being replaced to ensure they are not stained and that every item that needs to be replaced is in fact replaced … all housekeeping stuff.

Nothing. It's dreadful.

Chaos with a wedding which prevented all the regular guests to have access to the swimming pool, the lobby, and 1 Lift (there are only 2 for 15 floors.....you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to go up or down). The wedding was booked months before. We were only told the morning we arrived we wouldn't have access to the pool and lobby (we have 3 children, the pool was the reason we booked the hotel) and they had already taken their payment. This is theft by the hotel. They took payment knowing they weren't going to provide the service they said they would. To make matters worse when we arrived to our Roosevelt suite 1010 they obviously had a smoking/reefer party in it before. How Housekeeping allowed anyone into this room!!! It is beyond me how unprofessional and disgusting it was. We were then moved to the Clark Gable suite 1210 for the night. The next day we were told we had to move again the following day because of a leak next door. This was a lie. They had given 1210 to a Hollywood star for a party. By that stage I had given up the will to live at this rubbish hotel. This hotel is a joke. Amateurs running a circus taking their customers as clowns. See you next Tuesday guys.

They ran out of tooth brushes. Considering the rate I paid they could have at least bought some at a 7/11 to provide. Also some Staff where a bid on edge
