Amazing and perfect location for...

The retro feel of the facility is perfect for a Hollywood experience but the modern services and beautiful pool gave the Garland a resort quality that was not expected in the middle of North Hollywood.

The balcony door on the room was a little challenging as it is an old style pull but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again.

A fantastic option especially for...

Loved the pool area and a hotel bar is always a great bonus for travellers. The shuttle to Universal Studios was great and saved parking fees at the park. The staff were fantastic and the cost wasn't bad relative to alternatives albeit it certainly isn't cheap. Great location for Universal and Warner Bros. The onsite restaurant is also a decent and convenient option.
