The area and the decor was lovely
Bed was tiny and extremely uncomfortable, is advertised as a large double bed but is only a small double and not full length as my feet hung off the edge and I am only 175cm tall. Room was very poorly laid out, hard to get dressed as no plugs near mirrors. One light was broken near mirror and main lights flickered, this made it very hard to apply makeup
Clean little city hotel. Well decorated. Comfy beds. Easy to commute. Quiet area.
asked several time for an early check in after 12 hours flight. on arrival at 8am, they said they would do a favour to arrange for 2pm. came back at 2.30, room was still not ready. had to wait till 3pm- normal check in time.
Very clean, refreshing and has a serene and calm atmosphere. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Breakfast was beautiful and the staff attentive. The complimentary in room water, and comp chilled filtered water and fresh brewed coffee in the hallways were lovely too. I was very grateful of the air con on such a hot weekend .
It’s not a ‘don’t like’ just a suggestion for a fridge in the room.
Staff was very helpful and responsive
Room was very cramped and not worth the price we paid
The staff were all so friendly and helpful
Temperature in reception area
Location was great,. Very close to Paddington Station and lots of good cafes and restaurants. Hyde Park a short walk. Booked a Roomy room and it was a good size by London standards. New, clean with a lift and air conditioning.
Staff are very young and inexperienced. Not able to deal with issues. Seem unaware of what constitutes good service. We had several weird instances with staff that made it seem fawlty towers like. The hotel itself is great but they clearly need to be paying staff more and providing better training to the people working here. Several staff could not speak English and seemed unclear about processes and protocols. This hotel seems to have spent lots of money on branding but not the people to bring those promises to life
Everything was super good, the staff ARE THE BEST, Aicha and her team were super helpful...
