Room air and sheets were humid, late check in was complicated as hotel had a policy of only credit card use for deposit, not possible to pay deposit with visa debit

Very nicely designed hotel. Good location, walkable to lots of attractions with good food and drinks spots nearby. Some of the staff were helpful

We had an issue with our room, with some unfortunate substances having been left in the welcome booklet, presumably by a previous guest, which was not good. The folk at reception helped out and they did have the area cleaned. We were expecting some form of "compensation" however this was not received until we mentioned the situation again at the desk later that day. We received drinks tokens which was nice - we hoped to redeem them at the rooftop bar given the good weather and were quite looking forward to it, however we found the bar to be closed that day, which we had not been told of on our arrival. It was likely an unfortunate experience that we had, however for these reasons we found our stay disappointing. The gym was also quite small for the size of hotel.

Like most ACE chains, the lobby area and the entrance was cool.

The gym was small and the staff were not as friendly.
