Concierge was brilliant, location was fabulous.
The hotel and rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Although I had booked a city view room, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a partial sea view, which was a nice added touch. The pool area was also well-maintained and enjoyable.
For nearly $400 per night, I was expecting a more luxurious experience. The room was quite small with basic furniture and uninspired interior design. On the first day, we received complimentary water, but it was not replenished after housekeeping. When I called to ask, I was told it’s only provided upon request for VIP guests, which was frustrating given the price point. Valet parking was also excessively priced at $60 per night, adding to the feeling that the overall value didn’t match the cost.
Location good
Properly was under going renovations and didn’t mention it at all before booking. There was an email after booking with a small sentence saying “rooms are getting an exciting refresh and all facilities remain open”. Loud drilling all day Monday to Saturday. They offered us an “upgrade” to the building next door but the room was even older and bathroom didn’t have proper shower like room we booked. Property should have been more open and honest that it’s a major renovation happening and noise to be expected all day.
