Loews Miami Beach Hotel

The entrance of the Loews Miami Beach Hotel is truly breathtaking the crystal walls behind the check-in area set an impressive and luxurious tone. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with an excellent selection of bars and restaurants offering a variety of choices for every mood and taste. The pool area was a definite highlight, beautifully designed with warm, inviting water and thoughtful touches like the surprise “film under the stars” night, complete with free popcorn and lemonade. We also enjoyed the garden games, which added a fun and relaxed atmosphere to our stay.

However, our experience wasn’t without its issues. Unfortunately, the service let the hotel down. Upon arrival, we waited at the front desk with no acknowledgment, even when the staff member walked away, leaving us standing there. It was a poor first impression and not what you’d expect from a hotel of this standard. Our room was spacious but lacked attention to detail. The wardrobe was broken, the decor felt tired, and the room hadn’t been prepared before our arrival even though we checked in late. I had to make up the separate bed myself. Room service arrived at 4pm to clean our room when we had been out all day, she did the bare minimum because we needed showers to go out again! To top it off, after a long two-day journey, we were desperate for rest, only to be woken by loud drilling from building work early in the morning not ideal when you’re hoping for a peaceful break. Overall, the hotel’s facilities, location, and design are fantastic, especially the shared spaces and pool area. But the service and room condition really need improvement to justify the high-end expectations and price.

Beautiful property and rooms, very accommodating staff. Love the text chat feature for questions and requests. Pool was big enough for ratio of guests and beach amenities and water activities are great value of resort fees. Food & beverage staff were attentive and friendly.

The service of the staff was amazing and the food and the pool and beach facilities were great.

Loews is doing renovations at the moment so from 8:30am every day we were woken with the loud sounds of a job site... drilling, banging etc. The staff were very apologetic about it but I wish I would have known before arriving. There was no compensation for it apart from a plate of chocolates/macaroons.
