nice sandy beach area
there has to be a better system in place with beach chairs. at busy times many chairs have wet and dirty towels but staff unsure if people will be back so they dont pick them up resulting in an unsightly beach scene and no patrons on chairs.
the property is exceptionally beautiful. it's quite, private, and has everything you need.
the only thing that was disappointing was the Cuzamil restaurant on the property. the other restaurant was amazing.
The hotel itself was nice and clean. The beds were comfy and all rooms had a great view of the ocean. We highly recommend to opt for a room with balcony to enjoy the view properly.
The room we booked was without balcony, but when we got into the room we immediately decided to upgrade as the windows were so dirty and the porch roof of the rooms below were full of bird waste. Just not great to look at. The staff was friendly but we didnt get lot of information, like where we would find the breakfast area, or how the credit (for orders throughout your stay) works. Another day we ask multiple times for umbrellas but they refused to bring them out due to the wind. Which was weird to us, as they had them out days before when the wind was way stonger. The airline lost our luggage, and we let the front desk know that it will be delivered the next day. We had to ask several times for a toiletry kit to be brought to our room (or just handing us at the front desk). At a hotel of this kind you would expect a more accommodating staff, but maybe it was due to the fact we didnt book all inclusive. Another huge issue were the birds during breakfast. Only a few waiter took action in chasing birds away or cover left overs with napkins. But most of the staff seem to not care or maybe they just have up. However do not leave your plates unattended.
a ways away from the town. taxi was the only way to get anywhere and that was $10 to $30 one way.
