The showers are super nice!! The breakfast was good. The lady who stocked the breakfast area was nice.

The pool had been closed by the health department. It was a surprise getaway for my husband who loves to swim. I had no clue about the pool until we arrived.

Nothing.

Terrible self-serve breakfast. Miss the hot made-to-order breakfasts with actual servers. Tiny room, virtually no amenities. Very loud, thin walls/ceillings, could hear everything in neighboring rooms. Staff very uninterested.

AC didn’t work. Staff was rude. Fire alarm wake-up at 6am. No communication from staff while people were in parking lot. Staff laughing when walked in lobby about smoking oven. Wouldn’t let me check out later.

And bright it was modern and bright. Comfortable bed, bathroom, large size. Reception staff really lovely.

When we pulled back the sheets, a dirty straw fell from the bedsheets. We notified reception the next day, and we received no feedback from management. Additionally, the blackout blind went closed would not open again for the rest of our stay, the bathroom door was off its hinge and could not be opened or closed. Regarding breakfast bar, most foods were unavailable before the end of breakfast time. coffee was cold. Milks were empty, pancake mixes empty, no bagels, no yoghurt, etc. We paid a premium price for this room and stay, and unhappy with the fact that we received no feedback from management regarding our concerns.

Proximity to lake.

Our room was on the first floor and facing the parking lot which meant people walking past the window so we had to keep the blinds closed the entire stay. Also, the laminate flooring in front of the window was damaged and loose, apparently due to the air conditioning unit leaking inside the room at some point. The room smelled of mildew or like a basement.

1) the air didn't work. we asked if they would send someone to fix it and they said the didn't have anyone. we ask if they had a another room they said no but we can check out, it was 11am no where to go 2) the fire alarm went off and they could not tell me why
