The breakfast was ok but complicated and overpriced. The facilities are old and whatever little is replaced it is of lesser quality (like the beach umbrellas). I love the location on the beach.
The run down feel is bad. The mattress sinks like 8” and it had a depression where people sit in the bed. The robe had a hole on the shoulder!!! A dirty towel on the elevator lobby, stayed overnight!
Great location, well staffed private beach space. Large and comfortable rooms
A bit stale in style versus the top tier hotels in South Beach. Disjointed building set up.
We have been in the hotel in April 2025. We booked the hotel, standard room for about 850 EUR. When we have arrived in the room there was absolutely no view. The window was blacked by window foil. Booking.cm described it: View. There was nowhere mentioned No view. We have complained and the hotel manager Luis was very kind to give us an upgrade to another room. He also covered 1 breakfast. There was no other compensation for the first night. We were not received with a drink which would be normal for a 5 star hotel.
The hotel is like a 3* definitely not deserving the name RITZ. It is very outdated. The pool was extremely crowded. I would definitely not chose this hotel for a beach vacation. For us as we returned from the Ritz in Caymans, the beach was not a plus point. The breakfast was ok but very expensive.
The hotel is fantastic room size and layout are really good
