Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful with some things we needed, couldn't have been better.
Best location imaginable. Outstanding staff, especially reception, doormen and at breakfast. Lovely staff in the lounge too.
It is mildly irritating to be greeted bonjour all the time in the centre of Amsterdam just because the hotel happens to be run by a French chain.
Food was exceptional as was location. Staff was amazing
Dirty cheese plate in minibar fridge on arrival. Pool was chilly as was steam room.
Tranquility in Amsterdam
We arrived late, by car, and there is no information about the traffic bollards on the Russland coming in to the hotel precinct. We had to reverse up a narrow street (Russland), then go around Amsterdam one way to only come back to same location (GPS) - at which point we called the hotel and was only then explained that they have remote access to drop bollards. At 0100hours on a extremely busy Saturday early hours morning along with a specific type of happy clientele whom only interested in our Ferrari - is not how we like to digest the how to get to the hotel part. It should had been communicated to us - prior to our departure and arrival, as bringing the car (question of necessity to reserving parking to the booking team) was a known factor and we told them the arrival eta. Other than that everything was grand as the name implies :)
