Comfort of the suite. Facilities in the room (laundry, kitchen utensils, extra bedding)
Check-in was a hassle. After the entrance, it took us quite a while to find the reception. It was nighttime, and signs were scarce. During check-in, room keycards & wrist bands were given to us, but the check-in staff (eric) didn't explain that thereafter, we had to go to a different counter to get the keys activated. We went back to our rooms, about 5 min drive away, only to find that key cards aren't working. We drive back to reception to find out that the above-stated procedure (the most unique i've ever experienced in any of my travels). And after traveling for 10 hours, it really bothered us. Breakfast was offered on Booking.com, but instead, we were given breakfast money credit to be utilized in any of the restaurants. We played a round of golf at Creek Golf course, which was really small; it had really short par 3s and a couple of short par 4s. Pro shops were expensive, and golf clubs rented were really worn out & cheap. Overall, we didn't really enjoy it, and it's no value for money. We stayed at River Island; the pool area closes at 6 pm, so we cdnt enjoy the facilities after spending the day at Disney Parks. Although access was granted, park staff asked for extra charge for lazy river tubes. Market place (Convenience store) has limited items; Management needs to tap into its potential by offering more variety of items. No facility for late night snacking in the entire area. Vending machines may be placed at convenient locations.
Liked the price to have two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, washer and dryer close to Disney. Allowed for us to buy our food and snacks and save while at Disney. Was clean and quiet.
This property worked for my family. Because we were perfectly okay doing everything on our own. This property isn’t for you if you’re looking for cleaning services clean towels everyday while you stay. I’m sure you could request but we threw out our own trash, cleaned our towels and cleaned dishes. If you’re looking for a place like home and close to parks this is it.
Quiet, spacious. Comfortable Wishing we could have enjoyed the pools. Too cold when we were there.
We arrived late and only stayed one night. Very large property hard to find your way around.
Eventually, after complaining, they placed us in one of the old villas.
I did not like the food, l asked for sunnnyside up with the whites Well done. But they messed it up, l asked for crrispy potatoes at breakfast, but they were soggy. They gave us $180 between the two of us, but the gratuity of 18% is included in the price. This is ridiculous. The $180 allocated for breakfast is not enough for the 6 days we spent there. The food is overpriced and not tasty. The villa was not cleaned properly; there were two dirty mugs just placed in the cupboard as if they were clean. The free popcorn tasted greasy. The buffalo shrimp at the poolside in River Island meant to be crispy was soggy. Drinks at the pool side are expensive even when you bring back the cups given that you don't get the discount and receipt is not issued to know the actual price.
Property was clean and very spacious. Could easily text the resort for supplies needed and they were super quick to respond and bring them. It is a timeshare property and we were asked to do a 90 minute presentation after check in. There was absolutely no pressure to attend the presentation. They just wanted to make sure we were aware it was an option if we wanted. Our son is a golfer and there are several courses on property that we amazing. We will definitely be back.
