Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Amazing location only 10 min drive to Bath 20-30min walk Parking was great. The beds were super comfy. Lovely view of the garden in our room. Was very quiet and peaceful. The room was very good size. The bath in our room was very nice and big. Air con in our room was a great addition.

Food was very expensive, so I opted out as there were not many choices for vegans or vegetarians. Our room was dusty. The shower was partially broken. Curtains had rips and tears in them, thankfully still having full privacy. Sockets in a room were faulty, and when we tried plugging things in, it did not work.

The most amazing stay, we were upgraded to the Presidential suite which was stunning. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The Spa was really good especially the steam rooms and outdoor pool. We paid a bit more for breakfast in our room which I'd definitely recommend. Location was great - 15/20 minute walk into town - £10 for an uber. Couldn't have had a better stay. Thank you:)

Missed a few things off our breakfast menu unfortunately but the breakfast we did have was lovely. Gluten free options available. Would be nice to have some gluten free pastries.

Beautiful character building in lovely grounds close to Bath city centre. Free parking. Spa area.

That i got charged £50 room service that I didn't have . Also too late checking in and too early checking out.

A grand old building in superb grounds, splendid public rooms.

The older part of the building we were in did not have a lift. We were not warned about this. Given the high ceilings there were a lot of steps involved! Evening meal good but very expensive. Long wait even to be seated at breakfast then long wait to be served. Breakfast room clearly understaffed. Whole concept, e.g. coffee served individually by the cup, should be reviewed

Lovely hotel, room, staff and facilities. Set in lovely grounds which could be enjoyed thanks to the awesome weather.

The only negative was the evening dinner menu which was disappointing.
