The location is perfect, close to everything. The lobby of the hotel is wonderful. The terrace was really great to have a nice view.
There was no space to store our clothes, there could be more shelves to be able to put our clothes.
Good location; close to river and shopping; lots of restaurants in the area. Clean and modern rooms and public areas
Hotel restaurant was down in the basement, not great atmosphere, a bit dark and sterile.
Lovely location. Everything was quite comfortable and enjoyable
Nothing
The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful with the exception of one member of staff. We were there for one week. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and the towels and pillow cases changed every day. The location was excellente.
The hotel does not have the standard of a 4 star hotel at all. The furniture in the room was quite old. We had one big wall with a very small TV and a very poor choice of tv chanels and films for a 4 star hotel. Apparently we had to leave a card out allowing the room to be cleaned. We never did that because we are not used to that. Normally you leave a card out if you don't want to be disturbed. However, the room was cleaned everyday. On our last day we got back and nothing had been done. We went down to complain and the receptionist just said: Did you leave the card out? Not even sorry sir giving us the impression that it was our fault. We had to be in the room the whole time when we came back to the hotel because the administration of the hotel refuses to have the heating on in the reception in the winter. It was absolutely freezing unless you kept your winter coats on. All the staff told us they suffer with cold and even asked us to write a complaint which we did in writing and gave it to the reception. They told us that in summer the rooms have air contditioning but the reception is so hot that it is unbearable. The restaurant is in the low ground and it is very cold as well and people go to breakfast wearing coats. We have complained that the at breakfast the food that was supposed to be hot was always cold. Scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, mushrooms were always cold. We complained on the first day and nothing was done. One night we ordered a soup and a hamburguer and we had to send the soup back as it was cold and so was the hamburguer which in fact was not of good quality and we had stomach problems during the night. However, the day before we had the same and it was perfectly fine. The chairs in the reception were very uncomfortable. For the price we paid plus the fact that it is a 4 star hotel it was very disappoiting. We would not stay there anymore. The best thing in the hotel is the staff.
Excellent breakfast. Super comfortable beds.
Shame the evening restaurant was not busy (we were the only diners) especially as the food was EXCELLENT
