The Abbey hotel is an historic listed building in the heart of Bath City Center, next to Sally Lunns Bakery, Bath Abbey and short stroll from the Train Station. The Abbey Hotel Bath has 65 unique rooms with original period features and several styles celebrating the city's literature, film and artistic heritage. All bedrooms offer free WiFi, bespoke Hypnos beds and in-room amenities. Premium rooms offer panoramic views of the city. The vibrant ArtBar showcases curated art collections. We refresh the art on display several times per year. A full plated breakfast and ala carte dinner are served in the Abbey Kitchen Restaurant with stunning Bath street views. During the summer months, we open a wide pavement terrace that offers al fresco dining. During the Christmas season, the same space is transformed to house a pop-up Alpine Ski Bar, topped with snow and twinkling lights.

Lovely heritage style hotel in...
Free upgrade to family suite on arrival. Fantastic location. Beautifully appointed room including four poster beds and claw footed bath.
Room temp didn’t seem to adjust up or down. Entry door from street was a bit loud when opened and closed as kids were sleeping close to it.

Got an upgrade to a junior suite which was fantastic. Team was brilliant for checkin, late night food solution, kindness, flexibility, checkout ... Location could not be better. Did not have breakfast.
Not a lot of water pressure and the smell through the building was a bit stale, even in the room. Not quite as bad as the artificial 'brand' smell one has to endure when going to reception. Overwhelmingly flowery and aggressive. Totally uneccessary.

Fabulous Hotel - Great Location
The location was fantastic - close to the middle of Bath - which meant most places we wanted to visit were within a short walking distance. The hotel staff were excellent. From the moment we booked in we felt welcome - all staff were courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. Their local knowledge was excellent. Two staff I would like to particularly thank were Receptionist - Maria and Breakfast Team - Sally. They both looked after us very well and made our holiday more enjoyable. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
There wasn't anything to dislike about the hotel. I would have found it helpful to have instructions how to work the coffee machine and air conditioning in the room.
