GermagnanoBasically quite a reasonable simple older albergo. Everything worked, good shower.
The resraurant was closed and I think the boss was on hpliday. The guy who checked me in was clearly new to the job and made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I found my room open but he"d given me a wrong key and I had to find my own key at the reception.
The evening meal we had was very good. We had a nice room with a view towards the mountains.
The traffic noise was nearly constant.
Place is relatively central, so no problem to leave the car and to walk into town.
Although the room was ok, the real problem is noise. I know it is not the landlords fault, but I still feel I should communicate the problem. I really like to go to Italy but the country has a noise problem. Essentially all motorcyclists feel a need to show off by manipulating or outright removing the silencers in their exhaust pipes. The same seems to apply to car drivers, albeit to a lower extend. The police doesn't seem to care because they don't even turn their heads as they drive by. Now the problem is when you stay in a hotel close to a busy road during the hot season you either leave the window closed and then you can't sleep because it is too hot or you open the window but then you get regularly ejected from your bed because another narcissist drives by without a muffler in the middle of the night.
we fell well-treated by the staff
old-fashioned
Home cooked pies dor breakfast The diner was good, consistent salad (no small portion) Nice room
Some bugs in the root (but in italy it happens often, not special about this place)
