Breakfast was great. The Tusk bar is a great addition to the hotel. Location is extremely central.
Our stay at the Evelyn was generally pleasant, though a few aspects left room for improvement. Our room, situated on the third floor, lacked a view due to a neighboring building close to the window, giving it a perpetually dim atmosphere even with ample lighting. Enhanced lighting fixtures would greatly benefit these rooms. Storage for clothing was minimal, with only a small cupboard tucked awkwardly in the corner, barely accommodating our belongings and leaving little space for our suitcases, which made the room feel cramped and inconvenient for getting ready. Unfortunately, the set of USB ports next to the bed was non-functional, and the bathroom lacked storage space for toiletries, despite its generous size. Additionally, the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room was noticeable. While water was available in the mini-bar at a steep price of $10 per bottle, complimentary bottles could be obtained from reception upon request. It begs the question why these aren't provided daily as part of housekeeping. Though individually minor, these issues collectively left a somewhat unfavorable impression on our experience.
The design was interesting and unusual. The servicing of the room was excellent.
Only one lift was in operation so it took a while to get to and from the floor I was on. I wish there had been a coffee machine in the room. I expected a better breakfast.

The staff were friendly, well decorated and smelled amazing upon entrance. Our suite was so cute and every detail attended to. The bar had a great atmosphere and great cocktails. The coffee and bakery were a great start to the day.

Friendly staff, great facilities - lots on offer for tourists such as organised walks, happy hour etc. staff were attentive and went above and beyond if we had a question or needed something.
We had an issue with our toilet which meant we couldn’t flush it overnight and the water kept running. It kept us up all night! When we told reception, they did have someone to fix it. Our room wasn’t serviced one day so we had to ask to extra towels Not sure if the A/C worked well at all
