Slumber Party Tamarindo

The location was pretty good as far as Tamarindo is concerned. The staff was very polite and accommodating to our few requests

We got a bad case of bed bugs. I thought the bites were cause we spent a four nights in the deep jungle, but we found bed bugs in our clothes we were storing on the bed. The music from Sharkeys, a night club, BLASTED until 3-4 am 5 days a week on our side

Nice pool, wonderful people, central location close to everything and helpful staff.

The property did offer a wide options of activities like any other Selinas, the yoga class from Sunday evening by the pool was splendid.

I have stayed at this Selina on the night between 5th to 6th of November. At least 5 beds out of the total of 8 beds in room 208 were infested with bed bugs and mold (the rest of 3 beds we did not check because the persons sleeping there were not present). One person started to have an itchy feeling and thats how we look under the sheets, and the discovery left us speechless. The personal was nice, in around 30 minutes they took us into another room, but nevertheless this happened at 9/10 PM after a long day of traveling. The thing is that the spots on the mattresses looked quite old, I am simply surprised that no measurements have been taken until this accommodation, the stains being strongly visible if you change regularly the sheets. I have stayed at other Selinas in Costa Rica (San Jose, Jaco, Santa Teresa) all experienced there were truly pleasant and the facilities were cleaner. We were told that today (06.11.23) we will be contacted via WhatsApp to clarify regarding the further procedure, maybe a refund. Unfortunately this has not happened yet, which I find quite unprofessional after the whole situation. This experience has indeed left a truly bitter taste for the Selina community. I hope it will be taken more hygienic measurements in the future.

Swimming pool and some staff members were nice.

Dirty, old buildings, too expensive for what they give you. Some receptionists are rude, unfriendly and incompetent.

Location.

Very run down. Shared showers were not clean and the property was very run down. Nothing compared to what the photos show. I was not comfortable and checked out a night earlier. Very noisy too.

Staff is very nice and good location in Tamarindo

The facilities are in a very bad condition and very far from the pictures! Kitchen was very dirty. Pool is not very welcoming. Bad smell in the room and bathrooms were very dirty and I didnt have any hot water in our shared bathroom. Not up to the Selinas standards unfortunately
