Location
Rooms small
It was walking distance to downtown area shops and restaurants.
When I got there the closet door was broken the whole door was falling off the hinges mind you the door has huge mirrors on them so as soon as I opened it to put luggage’s inside the door fell forward and thank goodness my son caught the door or it would of shattered, there was trash and a fold away bed left at the entrance of the door to my room for about 3 days housekeeping or staff never removed it, breakfast is free but with all the crowed of people there no just getting in from of each other it was crazy definitely did not even try to have breakfast there the only thing I was able to get was hot chocolate. Couldn’t enjoy the gym because there was kids running around in there and playing unsupervised. Wanted to get in the pool with the family but with rowdy drunk men in the hot tub talking about women and personal stuff that shouldn’t be talked about when children are in the area so didn’t get to enjoy anything basically there at the hotel I was just there to sleep and that’s it!
Breakfast was better than 2 star hotels, they had the typical hard boiled and scrambled eggs, instant oatmeal, but also sausage, potatoes, corn, tortillas and cheese to make a wrap, biscuits with sausage gravy, toaster waffles and pancake machine. We had a triple room with 2 beds and a pull out couch (the pull out was typical not so good mattress), but had a nice long counter at one end with small fridge and microwave and coffee machine, good space to spread out food and make lunches.
For a good size room the bathroom was small. Need tissues in the room. Pull out couch mattress was pretty bad.
Great value for family ski trip to Jackson. So close to Snow King if you want. Easy bus or own car to JHMR. Excellent breakfast options to make our own breakfast burritos or whatever else. Pool and hottub are ok. Rooms are big and roomy to hold your ski gear. This is where we stay each year for our skiing at Jackson.
Its a bit outdated. Doesn't bother us but others might be concerned if you're looking for luxury.
Convenient location and free breakfast in the morning.
Around 9am on the day of checkout (which was 11am) I was hoping to get some extra sleep since I was getting up so early to snowboard on the other mornings. I heard loud knocking on my door and a guy yelling “hello hello”. It woke me from a sound sleep and couldn’t get back to sleep. Apparently, it was the housekeeping crew wanting to know what time I was checking out. Why? Why? Why? Checkout is at 11am!
