The rooms were clean. Staff were responsive and helpful. Location was good.
The self parking was difficult to find and had limited spots, one day we had to park outside even though we paid for the parking.
Met expectations with sizeable room, good bedding and air conditioning. Location was good
SERVICE. Staff were disinterested and unhelpful. There was no concierge! Checking in staff were unhelpful and uninformed about hotel facilities, services or nearby area. In fact appeared very bothered that I asked questions and were keen to move me on. I did not find free coffee in the hotel. There was no kettle in the room, and when I called to request one (twice) it was never delivered. There were no cups for coffee in the room, and again when I called, they were not delivered to the room. Room had no glassware just paper cups (when they remembered to leave them. No complementary water in the room. No tissues in the room. Small details, but it all just added up to the feeling one was not welcomed. There is substantial fee for receiving parcels, we were fortunate that some of the fee was refunded to us because I had an email stating that there was no fee, but really, it is poor hospitality to not offer such service, first for me in US. I will be staying in smaller hotel, offering traditional hospitality in the future. Poor value for money.
Location was great.
My room smelled of smoke, like an old rental car. They don’t offer water at checkin even for those with status. There is no water available in the room. The elevators took a very long time once called. The staff was hit or miss. Some not so friendly others very friendly. Missed my room a couple of days and it wasn’t cleaned. The water pressure was absolutely abysmal. You expect to take a warm, nice shower after a hard days work and it dribbled down. Took forever. Horrible experience. The property wasn’t very clean outside. Squashed rat left on sidewalk in front towards the conference space on the North side.
