Very disappointed with the service and front desk .
Very disappointed with the service
The valet staff was genuinely kind, my car was brought back promptly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, internet worked great. The breakfast was good; the restaurant, when open, is beautiful.
Some of the staff was utterly unprofessional, after a 16 hours flight, I expected better. I have been treated unkindly by the staff at the Top of the Mark which was their only dining option on a Sunday night where they offer things like vegetables and hummus so no complicated dishes. I have been looked up and down then turned away at 9:22 pm when I was told by the front desk to make sure to arrive before 9:30 as the kitchen closes at 10pm. Other guests were shocked by the treatment I received. When asking the front desk for a solution to have food after hours of flight, I was met with bored indifference and told to "just Doordash". My room was next to the elevators and you can hear everything through the door, the locks also feel quite old and flimsy. There is no water refill station, but you can get a 20cl bottle of water in your mini bar for $6. If you're hungry, you can get a box of 1.5oz (15g) of chips for $15. Some of staff the next day was kind to me, although I could tell that my young age and my lack of "moneybags" appearance deterred a few of the staff to interact with me when I obviously was looking to get help. Staff pretending to appear busy or making long idle conversation with much more important people than this young woman uneasily trying to get attention. Pathetic.

The hotel entrance is beautiful and comfortable for sitting as our family gathered here before leaving the premises each time. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean with nice views. The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing and the staff was always exceptionally helpful and cheery. We also enjoyed going to the top floor each night for a drink and to look out over the city.
I can't really think of anything.
