Be's Home & Tours

We only stayed at Be's for one night, but the staff (particularly Thao) went above and beyond to help us. Thao gave us lots of advice, and even volunteered to help us with a (slightly complicated) bus arrangement that we needed organised for a later stage of our trip... which involved her handling all the liaisons with the bus company, and remaining in contact with us (over a week *after* we had left the guesthouse), to make sure everything went smoothly. The guesthouse itself is cosy and clean, with lots of nice touches that make it feel homey (especially in the lobby/common area), and lots of information around to help you plan your trip. Lovely breakfast too, with very good bread. If you are doing the Ha Giang Loop, you are likely to meet lots of other like-minded people doing the same if you stay at Be's.

The bathroom is small with the shower and toilet close together - but in Vietnam this is very normal, and it would be ridiculous to expect more really for such a great price!

Excellent communication with hosts. They are very helpful in all matters from tours to restaurants and transportation. Pet cats are friendly too.

The homestay of Tao and her partner Danni is amazing, their Real Ha Giang motortour even more! The homestay is cozy and nicely decorated and the rooms are huge and clean and the bed very good. The breakfast was good too; the nutritious bread was great and the morning we left early Danni made us a delicious bahn-mi to take-away which we much appreciated. Great value for money. The (4-day with easy riders) Real Ha Giang tour was the best, do not hesitate to book here if you like an authentic experience, great riders, great accommodations, small groups and an amazing route with lots of off-the-beaten track stops. We truly had a blast! Would definitely recommend! Thank you Tao and Danni!

We stayed 1 night before a 3n/4d Ha Giang Loop tour and 1 night afterwards. This has definitely been the highlight of our trip thus far! If you're looking to do the Ha Giang loop, I promise you won't regret staying at this hostel and booking your tour via them. We booked the private tour, but spend lunch and dinner with a small group, which was a perfect mix of privacy on the road and socialisation in the evenings. When coming back from the loop, Tao (one of the owners), went above and beyond to help us book transportation and accommodation in Tuyen Quang, so we could see the mid-autumn festival there. She even helped book our trip from Tuyen Quang to Cat Ba, which involved having a bus stop in Tuyen Quang on its way to Hanoi. As you can hear, the owners Dani and Tao truly care about their guests. Again, I cannot recommend this accommodation and tour enough. Book. You won't regret it. As a site-note. If you book and are told you will be driving with Hai as your driver/guide, prepare yourself for meeting the most wholesome person in Vietnam :).
