It was nice
We checked in around 4, my family and I were getting ready to go to the water slides so it was about 4:30 when we got there about 5:45 they told everyone we had to be out by 6!!!! They were closing it down! Well we forgot to grab towels when we first came in so at the end I went up to the girl that was working I asked her for a few towels she told me no I don’t have any more! She was rude about it so my daughter’s boyfriend found some towels for my 4 year old and 10 year old. They don’t even have free coffee you have to buy coffee there too. The money we spend at a place like that at least offer free coffee and maybe stay open a little longer at the water park for families! We probably won’t be back there again.
The Waterpark was really nice and the hours to the pools are really good.
They were doing construction
We enjoyed the room size and the beds were comfortable. Great towels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Historical vibe.
I disliked that we stayed there while going under renovations. They need more customer service rides, as the River Waterpark and the Spa are far to walk. I also didn't like that there weren't more restaurants available in the area. We had to drive out. Food at the Hole in the Wall Restaurant was pricey and the drinks at the bar were as well. River Park water was hot.
Good size room and resort fee seemed worth it with access to mini golf and the water park. Bed was comfortable and A/C in the room ice cold.
The water in the lazy river was pretty warm, could be dropped a few degrees. Rooms are starting to show their age. Would have been nice to know beforehand there was construction going on in the resort.
