Loved Maxine and the b&b was so quirky Lovely veranda to sit and relax in the sunshine xx

It was very quirky. A friendly guest house.

Interesting collections of memorabilia may not be to everyones taste

The property was very clean and our room had everything you would need, there was a mini fridge and you could get fresh milk and water from downstairs whenever you needed them , nothing was too much for Maxine to do for you.

I have nothing negative to say about the property it was great.

Great location, overlooking the harbour on one side, beach at the front. Friendly staff.

Excellent breakfast. Serving staff were very good and sweet. Other guests were friendly.

Not as advertised. Toilet and shower were in the public hall. Shared with other guests. No door on shower. The rooms are tiny. Toilet space also only for short people. No parking I have screenshot of communication with the proprietor about saving us a parking space, as we are both over 65. Lots of stairs, and no help with luggage. I admit I misread the instructions to arrive before 3:00, and just assumed check-in was at 3:00, like everywhere else. The ad needs to make that very clear. The proprietor did send an email late the day before, but I wasn't reading emails while traveling. I did call as requested but got voicemail. She did try to call me close to arrival, but I was driving around crowded streets hunting for a park. Finally parked in car park about 3 blocks away, later moved to one block away. My bed was very hard.

Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Quirky decor. Excellent, well cooked, fresh and hot breakfast

Parking was actually fine although not allocated. I think it could be tricky to find available permit parking in the high season
