Squeaky floors
The Pines is in a beautiful location and anything you need is there on the property. The restaurant, Ducey's had awesome food and the staff were great.
Large group who partied all night into the morning. At least 30 to 40 of them outside, just across from us. They had a portable generator running all night for there lights and music. Not cool! A lot of nice things about this place but no control of their own rules. It's not all The Pines fault, these people just flat out did not care about anyone else.
chalets seemed to be a little run down for the price
Location was wonderful.
The pillows
The chalet was nice and clean, my kids especially loved the loft. I liked the kitchen and living room- it was a full apartment. They had mini splits both upstairs & and down, which made the rooms comfortable. A playground and glide rink were close by, which are great for families. The restuarant Ducey's was good, the bar & grill was a good choice for me with kids. The deck looked inviting during warmer weather.
The grounds around the resort were run down. And the lake was very low when we were there so not very pretty. Maybe better in other seasons. The coffee shop shown on the map was not open.
