This property was amazing. One downside is there is no sit down restaurant like many of the other resorts nearby, however they do have a marketplace to buy snacks. They are also so close to everything in west Maui, making driving or getting an uber super easy. The property is very clean and the staff were wonderful.
Nice and relaxing stay
It’s perfectly located and the hotel staff were pleasant when you needed to speak to them. The concierge welcome meeting is well worth going to. They gave us some great tips and ideas to make the most out of our 4 days on Maui. Definitely take a short walk to the beach to watch the sunset, if you are as lucky as we were you’ll see humpback whales breaching the waters as you watch a beautiful sunset. Rooms are spacious.
Sadly for us our stay was spoilt by the hotels inability to cater for people who have food allergies. Our children suffer from egg, peanut and dairy anaphylaxis. There is no hotel restaurant here just a snack shack that prepare simple meals like pizza, burgers and fries etc. The only option we were offered as safe food for our kids was a tub of melon. We asked daily but the catering staff didn’t offer to make any form of alternative that was safe from contamination, meaning we couldn’t really eat at all as a family at the hotel at all. We resorted to having to buy cold food groceries from the local supermarket, having to make meals on our holiday was not something we planned to do. We were really frustrated when we asked the food and beverage manager to call us to see if there was any way a safe alternative meal could be made in the kitchen, nobody bothered to call us. It’s a real shame as you’d expect a brand such as Hilton to be one of the best at catering for everyone’s needs. We are staying at two more Hilton’s on other island during our holiday and really anxious that we are going to encounter the same issues. Being this stressed out on what is a very expensive hotel stay is not ideal.
My family had a great time at the property. Great service good food and perfect location. The suite style rooms are perfect with kitchen amenities and you can't beat the beachfront location. This is our second time staying at the property and we will definitely be back again
No Screens on doors
This hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, and beaches. Barely used rental car! We got a king suite and the rooms were super spacious for 2 adults and 2 children.
Water was turned off from 11pm-5am one night and it happened to be the one night we needed the shower for a sick kid in the middle of the night. We also had to ask the front desk for many supplies/towels. They do not clean or replenish linens for a 5 day stay.
