Very modern e.g automatic blinds and technology in the room was impressive. The room and design of the hotel was beautiful and really aesthetic, the whole property was stunning and really felt like a high end resort, some staff members went above and beyond to make our stay special and catered to my wifes gluten allergy where possible.

The maintenance took a very long time for example when we had broken glass in our room, they took around an hour to come, and the room service took a very long time around 45 mins minimum for water bottles. We also werent able to book in at restaurants as the resort didnt have reservations and often we were waiting an hour for a table at one of the restaurants for dinner when we were hungry. On one day there was no space by the pool or sun loungers by the beach which resulted in us walking around aimlessly.

This property is incredibly beautiful! The rooms were well appointed and the food was incredible. As always when we travel to this part of the world, service is unmatched. Demetrio at the Mexican restaurant gave us some of the best service we have ever had in any restaurant. He took great care to ensure that nothing that was served to me contained any of my food allergens. His recommendations were spot on. Enrique at the Japanese restaurant was also incredible. He explained our dishes and was incredibly attentive throughout our dinner. Roxanna, who provided drink service on the beach, was also incredible. We purposefully sat in her area all the days we were there because of her.

If I had to say anything negative about our stay, Id say the check-in process was our least favorite of any resort weve stayed at. Aldo seemed preoccupied with something else when we were checking in. We were ready to upgrade, but it was only offered as an afterthought. The hard sell for the vacation club also took away from our vacation. It was presented as a VIP experience to tell us about the resort amenities. We wound up spending most of our first morning with them.
