Lakeshore Lodge

It was a good location for the trip we had planned

The person at the office was pleasant. The place was a little run down and the windows and screens could have used a good cleaning But to be fair, it is a dusty windy location. I thought it was overpriced for what the condition of the lodge and rooms.

The staff was absolutely AMAZING. They were friendly and accommodating when we requested early check in, polite, helpful...cannot say enough good things.

The property has a lot of potential, but was just very old and tired. The floors felt like holes were covered over with laminate and you could fall through. The window mounted HVAC ran ALL night in intervals of 18 seconds, pause 30 seconds, run 5 seconds, repeat...trust me, I had all night to determine this because we couldn't sleep, that was very disappointing. As far as "lakeshore", it was a bit of a walk to the shore, maybe a couple hundred yards, so that was a little disappointing as well.

View of lake Isabelle were great and good restaurants a couple of miles away

You have to go to an Inn a quarter of a mile away to get key to cabin, didn't know that in advance. Wi-Fi was very poor, in fact in evening couldn't make any stable connection. The TV which offered a good range of channels was reliant on WiFi to work, so constant buffering made it almost impossible to watch.

I LOVED THE LOCATION AND THE STAFF.

THE PLACE WAS A LITTLE DIRTY LIKE IT WASNT SWEPT. KITCHEN SINK FAUCET WAS BROKEN. AND IN THE LIVING ROOM THE VENT BY THE TV SMELLED LIKE SKUNK ALL DAY AND NIGHT WAS QUITE BAD.
