Wyndham Ocean Walk

The Location was excellent. Very walkable. The Kitchen was well equipped and made eating cheaper. The Room size made it comfortable for a family not to be cramped The Beach right out front was fantastic. The pools and hot tubs had potential.

The pool heaters were only partially working making it too cold to swim. The he hot tubs were overrun with children even when one had a sign for over 14 only. I did not know this was time share and had a long checking process with a sales pitch. Good if you like huge resorts but a bit too big for me.

Got charged $80 resort fee by you, then when I arrived i got charged another $80 resort fee by them. They said you never should have charged me this and refused to refund. Said you would have to refund. Guy and women at front desk very rude. I reserved a king size bed, but when I got there it was 2 doubles. Went back down to see if we could get what we reserved with you we were told the beds are not guaranteed? Why do you let us choose? Informed me I could get another room if I paid the cleaning fee for walking in other room. For what? Foot prints on carpet. I have stayed here every year for the last 10 years. Will skip next year! I want my $80 back that I paid twice!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed!

The location is great parking guards were super nice.

For a group going you only have one parking spot for 4 plus people. We booked for 5 people and only had one king and a pull out couch. The one front desk lady was rude to the people in front of us checking in. She wasn't friendly last time we stayed there before. Everyone else was super nice.

The lack of amenities in the early evening, should be more food and beverage options throughout the night.

TV did'nt work - NO HOT WATER -couch you fall down in and could'nt hardly get up needs replaced Was put on the 6th floor. knowing a jackhammer was doing pool repair just below our room. If I knew that I would not have come. Rates should be reduce for the noise inconvenience. You could not sit out at all, giving you a headace.That's what we were there for, just to relax and enjoy the ocean. We're not tourists on the go. We are local. So they moved us to the 17th floor. Not much for bathroom amminities, very cheap. and NO coffee. Had coffee pot? Good thing we bring our own. Noise still heard not as bad. We just wanterd to relax on the balcony. so I thought I would play music on the TV. WELL it didn't work only had one channel. Called to report, put on a technical list. All afternoon, no show. Time for dinner, called again, was told call back when we get back to get back on the list. Finnally, after a while someone showed up. OK now we got TV. Wanted to take a soak in the jet tub. Ran a whole tub only to find out NO HOT WATER. Next day I thought I would like to enjoy something there! Went down to the LL pool, cause it was closer to our room. Pool locked, pass did not work. Had to get someone to get maintenance with a KEY to unlock. Now all set for a swim.....WRONG..... water was like an ice cube!!!!!! So I went to the other inside pool, not much warmer. Wyndham doesn't go all out on expense to heat the pool. All in all I don't know how many trips I made back and forth from the room and pool and phone calls to the front desk with problems. And it would ring about 30-40 times and get NO answer. This completely wore me out took a couple of days to rest up from this so called little get away. We stayed at this place for our wedding night. I thought it would be fun to come back. We were celebrating our 20th anniversery. We have stayed a Wyndham's before. Never had problems.
