Service in the bar was very good

We booked this hotel specifically to have a late check out and requested this months ago. We were told that this could be organised on arrival. It could not and was not. The rooms are a bit dated, the bed uncomfortable, some of the reception staff are very abrupt. The restaurant was not available for an evening meal

Reception staff was friendly. Fast check in and out.

Bar staff were very abrupt and wanted you to leave the bar quick. The hotel needs a revamp with carpets and cleaning. The bed was very squeaky at every turn.

I can’t believe after you pay all the money I did for the room rate they charge you for parking there that’s unacceptable. That part of town shouldn’t be charging any parking whatsoever, especially that I have a handicap.

I love this property. I love the lobby lay-out, the wide entrance, the spacious parking lot, the pool deck area, the restaurant and bar. My favourite part of this hotel is the blue lagoon view that I get to enjoy from the high rooms. From this hotel, you can enjoy a shaded walk under tree canopies to an area with a Starbucks, a Chipotle restaurant, and other popular restaurants. About 300 metres, you can also find a shopping plaza with Burlington, and a supermarket. Walgreen and CVS are also within walking distance in the Blue Lagoon area.

I would say that the staff can be friendlier. They are professional and efficient, but not friendly enough when serving guests and customers.

Make sure you are not double charged when you stay like I was. I waited 3 weeks for my refund!
